Everyone here is very familiar with Marty using the SCS City Council meetings as his platform for waging his hate campaigns and introducing his newest scams. He went so far as to tell the council that people seeking his advocacy actually contact him after seeing his lies broadcast on public access cable. Marty was using this exposure to attempt to lure new victims into his scams. Thanks to a few of Marty's victims of both attacks and scam attempts, those days are now over. After the great Marty comeuppance, he will never be looked at the same way at council meetings. Based on eye witness accounts from the meeting, along with some people being contacted in the days following the meeting, the council has put an end to Marty using that forum to spread his lies and hate. My hat is off to the speakers who facilitated this change and to the council for hearing the complaints of the citizens of Saint Clair Shores.
There is another forum Marty also used that we have previously covered here, but not recently - the Lakeview High School Reunion Picnic Facebook page. This page was where Marty posted some of his greatest lies. Getting Bob Seger to perform at the group's next function, all his Berlin Wall lies, and so on and so on... Marty also used the site to target single women for his scams, stalking, and sexual harassment. Who could forget the sick woman Marty targeted on that page? He was telling her that songs on the radio were played for and dedicated to her, he was getting her luxury box seats to sporting events, even used the claim he was sending her flowers in order to get her address. No flowers ever showed up at her house, just a fat, sweaty, smelly Mongoose. Readers of this blog even saved another woman from Marty's future stalking by warning her, after seeing him start his usual targeting tactics.
As different CoM readers interfered with Marty's lying on the picnic page, Marty's "good friend" Sal came to his rescue. Sal is the creator and administrator of the page. He shut down access to and restricted who could see the page. Of course CoM had several informants that were on the page so that didn't make much difference other than the rest of us could no longer comment there about Marty. In order to keep our informants identities safe, they wouldn't comment. As we saw on Marty's page and at the council meetings, Marty used the name of the group to add validity to different fundraising scams. Donations for an evergreen tree to be planted at the park. A homecoming reunion dinner that didn't exist - you know, the standard bullshit. All this time, I just assumed Sal and other group members turned a blind eye to Marty's scams because they just didn't want to be involved. Besides, they all know how that coward retaliates when busted - spread lies on the internet!
Based on recent developments, it appears I was wrong about Sal. He wasn't turning a blind eye to Marty's scams, he just wasn't paying attention. Critical mass from Marty's exposure at the council meeting eventually reached Sal. When he discovered Marty was using the Lakeview High name in his Wyatt fundraiser scam, he decided to speak up. He commented on Erica's page that the group was in no way involved in Marty's fake fundraiser. Then this comment was posted on the picnic page:

It has been put to my attention that Someone(A member) is going to S.C.S City Council meetings and telling council that he is going to get together with this Group and head a fundraiser For little boy named Wyatt who was abused and has now been all over the media....Without naming names I will say this..NO ONE WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THE ADMINISTRATION CAN PUT UP A FUNDRAISER OR EVENT IN THIS GROUP'S NAME"
This comment pretty much sums up what has been happening to the world's biggest fake advocate lately. As people become aware that Marty is using their name to legitimize his scams, they are speaking out and exposing Marty's lies. This is just more proof that Marty's numerous "fundraisers" are nothing more than an attempt to scam donations from uninformed victims. If the fundraisers were legitimate, why wouldn't Marty have already cleared them with the groups or persons involvement before announcing them?
Another telling revelation about Sal's comment on the picnic page was Marty's reaction. Apparently Marty didn't bother to try to defend his "good works" or his personal advocacy greatness. He did what the Mongoose is known for - slither away like the lying snake he is. Sal had this follow up comment to confirm that the coward Elder Dawg stuck his tail between his legs and ran:
"Salvatore Palazzolo I think The PERSON of interest here has left the building, Lol as for me i have de-friended the person and I encourage it for any of my friends to do the same!"
This marks the end of yet another forum Marty used to lie and scam. Now, not only the city of Saint Clair Shores, but everyone on his high school alumni page are aware of the scam artist wannabe and liar that Marty Prehn truly is. Where will Marty go next to search for victims and announce his next great fundraiser? How will he attack his cyber stalkers and blame them for his exposure? The Mongoose scam options are running thin. He did give a final parting shot that we'd like to share:

I can see the one bright spot for Marty in all of this. One of his catchy event names could actually be put to use, although it won't be quite the way he dreamed it up in his head. I'm proposing that the next Lakeview picnic be named in Marty's honor - perhaps an all night party that they promote as The Camp Out To Stamp Out Marty Prehn.
